Guest Valentina Giannella, author of the book “Il mio nome è Greta”

On Wednesday 10 June, the pupils of the primary section virtually met Valentina Giannella, author of the book “Il mio nome è Greta”.

Engaged in the “Environment” project since the beginning of this school year, the students know Valentina very well because they read some chapters of her book together with the teachers. The conversation was interactive, with many reflections, exchanges and questions from the children.

Valentina recalled the responsibility of contributing to the protection of the planet with small daily gestures (choose the water bottle, the bamboo brush, the bar of soap etc.). Besides, she recommended to the students to cultivate their interest in the topic of ecology by consulting reliable and scientific sources and remembered them that environmental knowledge could be the subject of study for their future job (engineer, scientist, journalist, designer etc.).

Stay tuned!
The conversation ended with a proposal: to draw the commitment to the environmental matter.
Students are at work, Valentina too. She is writing the sequel to the book. Stay tuned!
